My Daily Scripture · Last updated October 10, 2026
My Daily Scripture shows a Bible verse each day, lets you choose a theme, share verses, and receive optional daily verse reminders. It is published by Mnemonic Apps (mnemonicapps.com). This policy explains what information the app uses and why.
No accounts, no tracking
You don't need an account to use the app. We don't collect your name, email address, phone number, or location, and we don't use advertising, analytics, or tracking tools.
Information stored on your device
The following stays in your browser or app storage on your own device and is never sent to us:
- The theme you selected
- The list of verses you've viewed (your history)
- Your reminder preferences
You can erase this at any time with Clear history, by clearing the app's site data, or by uninstalling the app.
Daily verse reminders (optional)
Reminders are off unless you turn them on. When you turn them on, the app sends our server:
- A push notification address created by your browser or device's notification service (for example, Google's or Apple's). It lets us deliver notifications to your device but doesn't identify you personally.
- The delivery time, days of the week, and verse theme you chose.
- Your time zone, so reminders arrive at your local time.
We use this only to send your reminders. When you choose Disable Notifications, it is deleted from our server. It is also deleted automatically if your device's notification service reports that it's no longer valid.
Delete your data
My Daily Scripture (by Mnemonic Apps) doesn't use accounts, so you can delete everything yourself, right in the app:
- Reminder data on our server (push notification address, reminder time, days, theme, and time zone): open the app, tap the bell icon, and tap Disable Notifications. It's deleted from our server right away. Nothing is kept afterward.
- History and settings on your device: open Previously Shown Verses and tap Clear history, clear the app's storage in your phone's settings, or uninstall the app.
If you can no longer open the app, contact us through mnemonicapps.com and we'll delete your reminder data for you. Reminder data is also removed automatically when your device's notification service reports it's no longer valid.
Sharing verses
When you tap Share God's Grace, the verse is passed to your device's share menu or copied to your clipboard. We don't see what you share or who you share it with.
Third-party services
- Hosting: The app is hosted by Hostinger, which processes standard web request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the app.
- Fonts: Text fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives standard web request data.
- Notifications: Reminders are delivered through your device's push notification service.
- Ko-fi: The "Support on Ko-fi" button opens Ko-fi's website. Anything you do there is covered by Ko-fi's own privacy policy.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Scripture
Verses are from the King James Version (KJV), which is in the public domain.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
